The run-up has a breathless feel to it.

And then when you’re in the trip, there’s a dreamy, magical quality to each experience.

You know it’s transient, so you try as much as possible to feel present, savor every moment, acknowledge the colors and sounds.

But it ALWAYS ends too soon.

And so the comedown is bleak, depressive.

And you want to go. Again. And again.
